As an Active U.S. Board Licensed Doctor / PhD, Clinical Psychology, in both the State of Tennessee and State of Colorado, Dr. Andres does not currently prescribe psychotropic medications. Prescription Privilege belongs to the medical realm of a Psychiatrist, MD.

NEWS : On March 3, 2023, Governor Jared Polis signed House Bill 23-1071. Under this new law, Colorado becomes the 6th State to authorize Doctoral level Clinical Psychologists, with further training, to have Prescription Privileges for Mental Health Medications, despite objections from psychiatrists.

As part of a Mental Health / Crisis Team and as a Clinical Psychologist, she is knowledgeable about certain psychotropic medications that affect the mind, emotions, and behavior. However, when relevant, she can only suggest some psychotropics to the attending Primary Care Physician.

She does not offer direct substance / alcohol abuse detoxification services. The Detox Programs are undertaken by certified mental health clinics and hospitals in the United States.

Dr. Andres does not do Psychological Services for Custody Evaluations.

Dr. Andres is an Active U.S. Licensed HealthCare Provider : ​Medicare. Medicaid.

Given her limited time, Dr. Andres’ Priority for Urgent Psychological Care Services are for the New Patient Clinical Admission Requests / Physicians’ Treatment Orders from the various U.S. Medical and HealthCare Facilities.

Although she has many international clientele from different countries, especially from EUROPE, English is used as the primary language.

Certified language translators are welcome upon the request of a client and approval by the respective State Boards & legal agencies, especially for Formal Psychological Evaluations. Depending on the reasons for a Psych Referral, DSM 4/5 and other U.S. standard, clinical, and diagnostic resources are used.
